Chile is actually the final interpretation of what will happen if colombian educational reforms take place. Students' protests are intended to claim to the chilean government to change the current educational system which makes students and their families get into a huge debt to study. this has cost them losing their houses in order to pay a debt which increases with time.

Today we see thounsands of chilean students walking against the politics of privatization the goverment has stablished recently and I make me a question with frequency and is: Will Colombian students go to streets when public universities are gone?
ReplyDeleteWe cannot allow the governement do this to us! It would mean the beginning of the end... In 20 years this country will be full of people who don't study because of the fear of getting involved in such a terrible debt or it could be full of people who don't have a house or possessions just for paying their debts...
ReplyDeleteLet's think of Chile as an example of what could be happening here and let's fight against that!!!
Nice short text. Well... when I saw the tittle I thought u were going to be focused in the dilema "money" or "education" but actually you didn't develop that topic, maybe you should change the tittle. In the forth line start "this" with capital letter. Bye...
